ABOUT SOULFULSUNFLOWER INC.

This 501(c)(3) organization was created to bring science-based evidence in beauty, skin and hair products to people newly diagnosed with cancer, currently undergoing treatment, and recently finished oncology treatments/ healing process of their diagnosis. The idea transpired after Jessica Fishman, President of Soulful Sunflower was diagnosed with Triple Negative breast cancer. She was extremely overwhelmed researching products that could have potential reactions due to chemotherapy. She began researching companies and reaching out to them directly. And through out her treatments, her friends, family and co-workers all supported these boxes and so many people have wanted to be apart of giving back to others. These boxes provide products to bridge the gap of being overwhelmed from a cancer diagnosis. We did the research and identified companies that are oncology treatment safe- they are free from parabens, sulfate and fragrances. We go directly to companies to make sure that their product is safe, but can not predict everyone’s allergies or sensitivities and do not take responsibility and accept no liabilities. This is a completely free box that is sent direct to people that have either been nominated by friends or family members or they nominate themselves. They follow Soulful Sunflower on Instagram and Facebook and enter themselves voluntarily, they provide their story either privately or publicly. Once a week drawings are done to provide 1-3 people a week with these boxes. The boxes are paid for through donations from individuals, companies that wish to donate, or patients that give back after receiving their box via product or monetary. The goal is to provide some sunshine to individuals where cancer has interrupted their normal life and gives them a place where they can follow Soulful Sunflower’s journey and learn more about products that are treatment safe. Things that most people don’t realize should or could be changed while undergoing treatment.
