     SoulfulSunflower Inc., a 501(c)(3) non profit organization, began after our founder and President, Jessica Fishman, was diagnosed with TNBC (Triple Negative Breast Cancer). After this difficult cancer diagnosis, everything moved fast, although life stood very still. You become overwhelmed and consumed with a ton of decisions that self-care becomes more and more challenging and dropped to the bottom of that to do list. Jessica soon realized that her makeup, skin care, and hair products were full of chemicals (scalp cooling taught all of us so many tricks on how to treat very fragile hair) and if there was one decision we could make for ourselves, that was cleaner beauty/skin/hair products. This began by researching ingredients and identifying brands that would be cancer treatment safe. These products are not only meant to be safe during treatment, but to feel like taking control of our future with safer products. 

     We did the research and created a non profit organization to provide clean beauty, skin and hair products to individuals who are currently undergoing oncology treatment or have recently finished treatment. This is a completely free WARRIOR BOX that is sent directly to those who have either been nominated by friends or family or who have nominated themselves. We have also added goodies such as gift cards, water bottles, scarves, etc.

   We donate blankets to children who are undergoing cancer treatments. We love the idea of giving them comfort, love and support (Ultimately one big hug!) when they are going though an overwhelming diagnosis and difficult time. Everyone deserves some sunshine through what feels like the darkest of times.
